In accordance with the Government of the Republic Act, paragraph 84, the County Governor represents interests of the state in the County and provides for integral and balanced development of the County. The County Governor coordinates cooperation of ministries and other organs of executive power with local governments and supervises activities of local governments. The County Governor also directs the work of the County Government and performs a number of other duties imposed on him by laws and regulations of the Government of the Republic. Management of affairs and technical services for the County Governor are provided by the County Government. The County Governor is appointed for a five-year term on the basis of the Prime Minister’s proposal by the Government of the Republic in coordination with representatives of local governments of that County.
